Congratulations to Rosemary Cherian who has been named a National Merit Finalist for Fall 2017. Finalists earn their status by scoring in the 99th percentile on the PSAT exam.
Congratulations SPX Senior Nolan McMichael has earned the Virjean Burton Service Award which honors students who have multiple service hours in the Northland. Part of the award is that Nolan can designate a $1,000 check to the charity of his choice.
Congratulations to SPX Senior Madeleine Quinn who has been named a Missouri Scholars 100 recipient as one of the top 100 students in the state of Missouri.
The SPX Scholar Bowl team hosted Districts last Saturday and defeated Barstow, Pleasant Hill, and
Oak Grove to win the district tournament undefeated. This is the 3rd straight district title for Scholar Bowl. Rosemary Cherian and Matthew Kirk made the All District team as the number 1 and 3 individual scorers, respectively. The next step on the road to state is April 26 as we host
the sectional match against Higginsville.

Giuseppe Sarto Award
The Giuseppe Sarto Award is given to an individual in recognition of their outstanding service to St. Pius X High School. In general, it is intended to show appreciation for significant and voluntary contribution to the advancement of the school. Nominations Forms are now available here:

Service Hour Reminder
S ervice hour forms must be turned in within two weeks of the date of service during the school year. During the summer, service hour forms may be turned in the first week of school. Completed service hour forms may be turned into the front office . You may also put your service hour forms in the drop box outside the office door. Please click
for the service hour form. Please be sure the form is filled out in its entirety. Please be sure the location is an approved site for community hours. For a list of approved agencies for community hours please click
. No more than 20 hours from any location will be accepted to count towards graduation. Any parish hours must be completed at the family parish or church. Other parish or church time will go under SPX hours, as the student will be representing St. Pius X. For awards night and senior graduation requirements, all hours must be turned in by April 1, 2018.
