Letters of Compassion
A group of students commits itself to be globally aware and to practice social justice just through advocacy, fundraising, and information sharing. Letters of Compassion has engaged in letter-writing campaigns to stop the genocide in Darfur, the use of child soldiers, and human trafficking. The group, directed the raising of the SPX community's contribution of nearly $15,000 to help construct a school in Turalei, South Sudan. The groups meets at 7:20 a.m every other Tuesday in the library. Mr. Scrogham is the faculty sponsor of the group.
