Financial Aid - St Pius X Grants & Work Study
In addition to available discounts, families may apply for assistance based on financial need. The assistance provides part, rather than all, of the cost of tuition.
Two types of financial aid are available to those who qualify - Grants and Work Study. Grants are awarded based on financial need and are a direct reduction of tuition. Work Study is also based on financial need and will reduce tuition by the number of hours a student works for the school. A financial aid application must be completed in order to be considered for grants and/or work study.
St. Pius X benefactors provide much of the funding for financial aid through their generosity to the Annual Fund.
Applications for 2017-2018 Financial Aid will be accepted starting November 1, 2016.
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for St. Pius X High School for the 2017-2018 school year. In order to process an application, FACTS must receive a $30 non-refundable application fee. In addition, 2015 tax documents must be submitted to FACTS to substantiate the financial aid application.

Respresentative is available to assist at
Deadline for 2017-2018 Financial Aid Applications is DECEMBER 16, 2016.
Families who complete the financial aid appliciation by the deadline will insure they receive first consideration in the awarding of financial aid and will receive their determination letter in mid-February. Completed applications received after the deadline will be assessed on a first come, first serve basis after the initial allocation process, if funding becomes available.
In addition, students must be enrolled for 2017-2018 (completed tuition contract/enrollment forms and enrollment fee paid) in order to be considered for financial aid.
Please know that an application for financial aid does not guarantee that aid will be awarded.

SPX PARENTS ANNUAL CONCESSION OBLIGATION
St. Pius X requires each family to work one concession shift per school year. Each family is assigned one shift (either on the Fall or Winter schedule) no matter if your student plays a sport or not. Only one parent is required to attend (or another adult in the family, grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc).
Your student is NOT elgible to take your shift.
The Fall schedule is available on the SPX website under the Parent's Association tab.
The Winter Schedule is set in early November.
Please contact Jenny Vutich, Parents Association Concession Scheduler, if you have any questions regarding your concession obligation at 935-6923 or email@example.com
Photo Sharing Opportunity at SPX
Many times we are in need of photos of students playing sports, participating in extra-curricular activities, service projects or other school activities throughout the school year. Since many parents take photos of their kids at these activities, we often come to you to seek extra photos when we need them for publications. To make this process easier, we have created a photo sharing site: spxkc.smugmug.com password: warriors
We encourage parents who take photos at games to upload them onto this site for sharing. Please email Melanie at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive an upload link if you are willing to share your photos.
In addition, smugmug allows photo ordering, so any parent can view the site and order photos they may want that others took. Our hope is that this will make photo sharing easy for our community.
