2017-2018 SPX Yearbooks

The deadline is January 1, 2018.
After this deadline, there will be no space left for Senior Ads and the price for yearbooks will increase.
2016-2017 SPX Yearbooks
Yearbooks usually come in towards the end of October.
We will send out further information once they are delivered.
Girls' Basketball Pre-Season Meeting

We will cover team policies and practice schedules, try on shoes, and more.
Holy Cross has Confirmation, so if any parents cannot make it to our meeting, please email Coach Daniels so we can get you the information you will need.

Parents:
Diane Pickert will be conducting a workshop for each class in line with the diocesan mandate of "Protecting God's Children." It is the Praesidium program -- "Called to Protect" that all high school students are required / expected to have.
Please see this letter from the Diocese that explains in more detail.
If you wish your child to opt out, inform Mr. Murphy.

All students will be taking a practice ACT on all-school testing day, Wednesday, October 25th. School will begin at the regular time of 7:50 that day.
No matter what your child's level is in school,
the following resources are available for ACT practice prior to the 25th.
It would be wise for all levels to familiarize with the structure and nature of the ACT:

Then click "Begin Practice Tests"
In about ten days, a thorough and detailed report will be returned to SPX and distributed to the student. I will send an email notifying you that the student(s) have their reports.

REMINDERS:
Cafeteria Deposits: ALL Cafeteria Deposits should be completed online under “Online Payments” on the “MySPX” link. Please do not send checks for Cafeteria Deposits.
Pius Armoury: Purchase new uniforms and spiritwear, prices vary. If funds are deposited in a student’s Armoury account, the funds may be used to purchase dance tickets, event t-shirts, and out-of-uniform wristbands. Deposits to student Armoury accounts must be completed online under “Online Payments” on the “MySPX” link. Please allow 24-48 hours for the online payment to be available to use for purchases.
Community Service Reminder: Use the service form found on the SPX website here and turn them into the main office within two weeks of completion.
